Trick or Treat Part One

Last night Ally and I joined some friends at the local strip mall here in the North Hills to join in the festivities surrounding Halloween. It was great fun, but we did have some costume issues. Ally refused to keep her hood on to complete her bat costume. She kept telling me, "no hat mommy". I gave in. I am such a sap!

Tomorrow is trick or treat in our neighborhood, where she will be a witch. The father's are going to take the kids around, while the mother's distribute candy and some type of alcholic beverages. Yes, you read right...alcholic beverages. Keith and I put together some yummy jello shots. Us Ruiz's sure know how to tie one on!

Accomplished

That is a good word to describe the weekend in our household.

The to-do list is close to having all checks in the boxes after a very busy weekend of chores and tiny little to-do activities.

Amongst the many were...fall clothes shopping, cleaning, giving the dog's a bath, washing the 4Runner and the F-150, organzing closets and finances as well as cleaning out old clothes. Needless to say, I feel very accomplished.

With this clear mind, I plan to sleep soundly tonight as long as Allyson doesn't awake with another nightmare tonight!

Potty Training 101

This is sooo FRUSTRATING!

One day we are on the potty 3-4 times and the next...NOTHING!

I heard many times over that some trained their little toddler pants-less for a few days, but I think I am a little too neat freak-ish for that!

Any tips?
